Mulitcultural Week 2016

 

This year's Mulitcultural Week 2016 was a fantastic celebration of the wonderful and varied cultures we have in this school. Students were kept busy with special activities everyday. The Friday parade and delicious lunch was enjoyed by all students and many parents.

Launch of the Community Drop In group.

Thanks to all of the great work being done by Mrs Pracy & Mrs Gough in establishing and launching the Community Group at Forrestffield Primary School.  The first meeting was held on the 11th of February in Room 5.

 

Just a reminder that the group will be meeting every Thursday morning during the school year from 9 -12. For more details contact the school, and look out for the guest visitors we will have coming. Feel free to visit us any time. Come in for a coffee and and chat, and there will also activities on offer for pre school age children to help with their development before arriving at school

 

We look forward to a great 2016 and continuing on with the fantastic program and learning at Forrestfield Primary School.

 

Communiyt Play Group

 

 

Uniform Shop

Just a reminder that the uniform shop will now be open from 8.30am on Wednesday mornings. It is staffed by volunteers from the P&C and if you would like to offer your services to help with its operation, please touch base with a P&C committee member to ask how you can help.

 

Canteen

Just an update, the P&C are looking for volunteers to help man the school canteen. The canteen will be open of Fridays commencing from Week 2, Friday Feb 12th. If you are able to help, please follow the link on the P&C section of the website. Just remember, if you have younger children,they will need some help with their ordering. The menu normally consists of baked products and a special dish with a selection of snacks and drinks available from the canteen during breaks.
